The 16th Triennial Symposium of the International Society for Tropical Root Crops (ISTRC) will be held at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State, Nigeria from Sunday 23rd – Friday 28th September 2012. The International Society for Tropical Root Crops (ISTRC) was established in 1967. The Society’s triennial symposia serve as a unique platform for interaction among scientists working on all tropical root and tuber crops (Sweetpotato, Cassava, Potato, Andean roots and tubers, Yams and Aroids) from various backgrounds from around the world to share experiences, build collaborations and develop strategies to contribute to sustainable development.
